Schools complying with the above conditions will receive the Bond rebate by direct credit to the nominated bank account after the event. No Bond Refunds will be paid after 30 June 2018 where the required bank account information has not been provided by schools. Any changes to on-line team lists, including team management personnel, must be tabled at the Technical Meeting on school letterhead, signed by the Principal to confirm athletes comply with NZSSSC Eligibility regulations and that team management are approved to accompany that school team. 4 NATIONAL SECONDARY SCHOOLS VOLLEYBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS SCHOOL BOND COMPLIANCE A Bond of $ per team (up to a maximum of $ per school) is payable to VNZ. The Bond Fee is payable with the Team Entry Fee and the Bond Compliance Form and the School Entry Form must be received by 5.00pm Monday 26 February The Bond will be forfeited if a team fails to: Complete on-line team registrations on time Be represented by the Coach or Manager at the scheduled pre-tournament Technical meeting on Sunday 19 March Supply a minimum VNZ Local or Regional qualified 1 st Referee on all Duty matches. Be represented by the nominated referee at the Referees meeting on Sunday 19 March. Provide a 1st Referee and 2nd Referee, two lines people and two scorers on all allocated Duty games during the tournament and meet Referee/Duty requirements as outlined in Referee Requirements Sheet. Referees must provide own whistles. Be on time for all Duties. It is the responsibility of all teams to confirm duty times on the posted draws at the tournament. Undertake refereeing and duties to a standard determined by the Referee Delegate at the tournament, and as documented in the Tournament Rules and Regulations. Comply with all uniform rules and regulations for the tournament. Playing tops to be numbered front and back. The Libero uniform must be a significantly different or contrasting colour to team playing uniform. Comply with all tournament rules & regulations, the schools Fairplay Charter and expected behaviour of athletes and officials on and off the court Ensure a member of the registered team management is present at the Coach and Managers function for the duration of the athlete social. This may be one person per school but this person must know the athletes and have authority to act on their behalf if required. 5 NATIONAL SECONDARY SCHOOLS REFEREE REQUIREMENTS It is a requirement of entry to the National Secondary Schools Volleyball Championships for each team to provide a VNZ qualified Regional (or above) Referee. Schools should contact their Regional Volleyball Association to arrange for regional referee training. The nominated referee/s must be identified on the Team List (on line registration) with their level of accreditation. This will be confirmed by the VNZ Referee Development Manager. Additional qualified referee/s may be added to the team roster at the Technical meeting and are subject to confirmation by the Referee Delegate. The nominated referee/s must attend the Referees Meeting Sunday 19 March 7.00 pm The Referee Delegate at the Tournament will fulfil a mentoring and practical assessment role to assist referees wishing to upgrade. Referees wishing to upgrade must meet with the Referee Delegate on Sunday 19 March and arrange a time to suit. Teams must supply own whistles and ensure these are not shared. VNZ supports students as 1 st Referee. Where a school nominates students as referees, either the Team Coach or Manager MUST be present at the score bench for the duration of the team duty and wear the court bib provided to show the designated adult in charge of the duty team.
