3 Calendar Highlights The dates listed below are only a few of the dates you need to be aware of regarding the WTW campus. Check the WTW High School web site for a full listing of school activities and events, Date Event 11/21-11/23 Thanksgiving Holiday A Community Fundraiser for WT White High PTSA WT White High PTSA has partnered with Mack Boost to offer parents fantastic deals on local merchants you love. It's simple; shop discounts at local businesses and you'll raise funds for our PTSA. Check back often for new weekly deals and follow our progress as we grow our school and community! Thank you for your support! - Your WT White PTSA Board - I Heart WTW Shirts are back!!! We are bringing back the I Heart WTW shirts by popular demand. And this year, we are throwing hoodies into the mix. All proceeds go to support the upcoming Washington, DC trip. If you want to purchase a shirt and/or a hoodie, please see Mr. Wallace in the main office to pre-order them no later than Friday, November 16 th. The shirts are $15 and hoodies are $25. 4 Thanksgiving Break Starts. DALLAS ISD S THANKSGIVING BREAK STARTS WEDNESDAY, NOV. 21 Students will observe holiday along with staff Nov Students and staff in the Dallas Independent School District will observe the Thanksgiving holiday Wednesday, November 21 through Friday, November 23, with everyone resuming their regular schedules Monday, November 26. For students, the holiday schedule is slightly different from last year, so they are encouraged, along with their parents, to be mindful of the current schedule. In a continuing effort to stress the importance of attendance, Dallas ISD is encouraging all students to take advantage of every instructional day by being in class, on time, each scheduled day. Through the goals and objectives of Destination 2020, the district is committed to providing quality instruction for every student. However, students must make every effort to attend class each day to fully benefit and to better achieve academic success. Visit to view the full student calendars. This year's show is called,"hollidays With Hermione". 250 students are involved, and it promises to be a wonderful event. Mark your calendars for friends and family to attend. Join the PTSA!!! Please support the WTW Community by joining your PTSA! Membership is only $12 and dues are used to support PTSA activities for our school! But studies have shown that athletes attend class and graduate at higher rates than non-athletes, and they score higher on standardized tests and have fewer disciplinary referrals. If you sell tickets to events, help with Homecoming activities, participate in SBDM and PTSA Boards, assist in the library, attendance or counselors' office, chaperone field trips, or interact with the students in any way, you must be on our volunteer list.
