1 मक क द सह न म म śrī mūkāmbikā divyasahasranāmastotram जय जय श र ॐ ल लत मह परस र पर भ रक सम त य च म ळ र पर ण नम jaya jaya śaṅkara om śrī lalitā mahātripurasundarī parābhaṭṭārikā sametāya śrī candramauḻīśvara parabrahmaṇe namaḥ This beautiful Sahasranama of Sri Mukambika Devi is taken from the chapter called Kolapura Maahaatmyam of Skanda Mahapurana. This is a very powerful hymn and a single repition of this hymn is said to be equl to Sahasra Chandi Homa. Sri Mukambika is the combination of not only the three prime deities Mahakali, Mahalakshmi and Mahasaraswathi, but also all the other froms of Sridevi like Kaushiki, Mahishamardini, Shatakshi and all other gods and goddesses. By simply chanting this great hymn, one can please all the three hundred crores of devas who reside in Sridevi. This is a lesser known hymn probably because it was handed over from a Guru to Shishya, during the initiation into the Mulamantra of Sri Mookaambika, known as Gauri Panchadashaakshari. Sage Markandeya says that this hymn is of indescribable glory and should never be given to the ignorant who do not worship Sridevi and those who are not into initiated into the secrets of Kulaachaara! I have transliterated this hymn here for all Upasakas Chandi and Durga.
