Students meet in a campus computer lab on a regular weekly schedule throughout both semesters of the school year. Students will also be expected to complete additional activities online outside their regularly scheduled classes on campus. Two to three times a year, these exam opportunities are scheduled on a Saturday at one of the GISD campuses. Students complete an objective test as well as demonstrating their capabilities in reading, writing, and speaking. Students must be awarded an overall score of 70 or above to receive credit.
