2 Vasant Panchami Celebration 1 Date Multi Purpose Hall The festival of Vasant Panchami, which marks the beginning of the season of vasant (or spring), was celebrated in the school. The day started with a prayer to the Goddess Saraswati by the students of Gandhi house. The students also presented Saraswati Vandana, an informative PPT showing the importance of the day and the way it is celebrated in different states of the country. The Principal, Vice Principal and teachers performed the pooja of the Goddess Saraswati. On this day all the teachers dressed themselves in yellow to welcome the spring season.

3 A Session with Assistant Commandant, Indian Coast Guard 2 Date Multi Purpose Hall An interactive session with Assistant Commandant Ms. Amrita Kaur from Indian Coast Guard, Mundra was conducted for the students from classes III to IX and XI. She briefed the students about Cost Guard, its history and the importance of coast guard. She used a PPT and some interesting videos in her presentation. She made students aware about various career options in Indian Coast Guard and how to get a job in it. In the end she allowed students to ask questions and answered them satisfactorily.

4 Inter School Drawing and Painting Competition 3 Date Multi-Purpose Hall On the occasion of 41 st Coast Guard Raising Day, an Inter School Drawing and Painting Competition was conducted in the school by Indian Coast Guard, Mundra. Apart from our school, St. Xavier s School and Aga Khan School also participated in this competition. The competition was held in two groups Group A and Group B and the topics given were My Dream, Swachh Bharat and Indian Armed Forces. Five students from our school achieved different positions and made the school feel proud. Their names are given below. 5 Practical Examination for Class XII 4 Date and Respective Labs and Class Rooms The AISSCE Practical Examinations 2018 for the classes XII Science and Commerce were conducted in the school for the subjects of Biology, Physics, Chemistry and Business Studies. The students faced the exams with confidence. The details of the examination are given below. 6 Psychometric Test for Non-Teaching Staff 5 Date Computer Lab. As per the guidelines of the CBSE, an online Psychometric Test was conducted in school computer lab for the Admin and Group IV staff on This online test was conducted by Mettl Organization.

7 Republic Day Celebration 6 Date The 69 th Republic Day was celebrated with great patriotic fervor and zeal. Mr. Vijay Saxena, General Manager, Adani Solar Plant, Mundra graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. He was welcomed by the Principal. The students in their troops demonstrated a disciplined and well synchronized march past. The march past was followed by a patriotic song, a well rhythmic calisthenics and a pulsating dance performance. The sonorous Bagpiper Band presentation and the well synchronized NCC troop together were awarded the Best Marching Troop trophy. The Chief Guest Mr. Saxena, in his address to the students, asked them to respect teachers and elders. He also emphasized that students must toil hard, think high and work with utmost dedication to make our country achieve higher goals. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by the CCA in charge Mr. Parimal Parmar. Sweets were distributed among the students at the time of dispersal.

10 Class XII Parent Teacher Meeting 7 Date A Parent Teacher Meeting was held for the parents of class XII students to discuss students performance in the second Pre-board Examination. Parents met the subject teachers and talked about their children s progress.

11 16 th Annual Sports & Athletic Meet 8 Date The 16 th Annual Sports and Athletic Meet was conducted in the school on 27 th January Mr. Sanjay Goswami, Asst. Commandant, CISF, Mundra was the Chief Guest of the day. He congratulated the school for organizing such a grand sports meet and encouraging students to play sports. The inauguration ceremony began with a well disciplined march past on the resonant beats of the Bagpiper Band. Gandhi House was declared as the Best Marching Troop. The march past was followed by the Torch Lighting ceremony. In presence of the holy flame the students took the oath of loyalty, honesty and sportsman spirit. The games started as soon as the Chief Guest declared the sports meet open. The students took part in various races, throw events as well as jump events. Some fun games were specially arranged for the students of junior classes. The winners were awarded medals and certificates. The day ended with the Flag Lowering ceremony and the Principal ma am announcing the Annual Sports and Athletic Meet closed.
