16 Notes Athletic Awards Criteria: 1. First varsity award - 6"-Chenille H with sport insert for that sport and first year certificate. 2. First varsity award in another sport - Insert for that sport and first year certificate. 3. Second varsity award - Medal and second year certificate. 4. Third varsity award - Plaque and third year certificate. 5. Fourth varsity award - Trophy with sports figure of sport award was won in and plate with name, year and school and 4th year award on front of the trophy, and fourth year certificate. 6. Non-letter winners, managers, and statisticians - Certificate of participation 7. Athletes maintaining a 3.5 G.P.A. or above throughout the year and involved in more than one sports season- Certificate listing each sport he/she participated in during the year. 8. Jr. High and Freshman team members shall receive a paper certificate of participation. 9. Any 8th Grader who participated in a sport and also participated in any sport as a 7th Grader will receive a 4 - Chenille H. 10. After a Freshman participates in any sport they will receive their graduating Chenille year patch. 11. Students below high school level shall receive a paper certificate for helping as managers, bat boys, etc.
