1 DUAL ENROLLMENT and TRANSFER CREDIT GUIDE between HARFORD COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS and HARFORD COMMUNITY COLLEGE SCHOOL YEAR Early college admission allows students to be dually enrolled and attend their high school and Harford Community College () concurrently. Students may enroll in credit courses and may be able to use these courses for high school graduation requirements. Upon successful completion of the course, the final grade is transferred to meet Harford County Public Schools () graduation requirements, recorded on the high school transcript, and calculated as part of the official high school grade point average. Students and Families: All courses intended to meet specific graduation requirements must receive prior approval from the Office of Middle and High School Performance. Please see your School Counselor if the course you are interested in is not listed in the Dual and Transfer Guide. School Counselors: Contact the Office of Accountability if a desired course name and number are not available in the Dual and Transfer Guide. 1

In order to register for Math 022, students must earn a C or better in Math 021. Students who do not earn a C or better in Math 021 will remain in the year-long course. Students in MA2701 earn 1 mathematics credit if they pass the course with a D or better. 5
