1 Killingly High School Daily Bulletin We invite all you to join us for our Thanksgiving Feast. That's right! The Feast includes Roasted Turkey, Mashed Potatoes, Glazed Carrots, Sweet Corn, Gravy, Cranberry Sauce and a slice of Corn Bread. KTV is selling Krispy Kreme donuts for the Thanksgiving Holiday at $10 per dozen. All money and orders are due by Wednesday, November 15th. Donuts will be distributed on Tuesday, November 21st. Please see any member of KTV or Mr. Durand in Rm 1716 to order your donuts

2 Bible Club Meeting We will be holding a meeting on: Wednesday, November 15th - 2:30-3:30 pm in the Ag Ed Library See Mrs. Julian in the Ag Ed office or Mrs. Lacy (Rm. 3114) if you have any questions. Snacks will be provided Stop into the school s branch of the Charter Oak Credit Union this month, do a transaction and get a chance to spin the prize wheel once. Open a new account, and you can spin the day you open AND when you do your first transaction. We have added $10 Dunkin Donut gift cards to the prize wheel. Stop in Mondays or Thursdays in November for your chance to win. To the following students for winning the first Danielson Veterans Coffeehouse Essay Contest: 3rd Place - Dylan McMerriman 2nd Place - Christian Lerz-McFolley 1st Place - Lexie Brunet Lexie was recognized at a veterans celebration at QVCC on Friday and was asked to read her essay to a crowd which included our state senator and congressman, community dignitaries, QVCC staff and students, and local veterans. Congratulations, Lexie. You made KHS proud.

3 Thanksgiving Food Drive Competition S p o n s o red by Student Council N o v. 6 t h - N o v. 20 th To benefit the Friends of Assisi Food Pantry Thanksgiving Food Drive Competition Competition between Advisory Classes and between offices (Main Office vs. Career Center & School Counseling Office) Students will bring in food donations and drop them off in their advisory classroom. For each food item the advisory class will receive points (see below). 4 Congratulations to the volleyball team whose season ended with a hard fought loss on Saturday in the State quarterfinals. Permission slips and program information are available on the club website or see Mr. Lewerk in Room On-line registration at Wachusett Mountain must be completed by November 30th to lock in the lowest prices for lift tickets, lessons and rental equipment. There is a late bus for students that live in Killingly and there are two out of town late buses that go either north or south. Students must sign up in the main office during the day or right after school if they intend to take the bus. A snack and water is served at the end of each session to students that attend.
