Madeira Athletic Boosters Hall of Fame

1 The Madeira High School Athletic Hall of Fame was initiated by the Athletic Boosters in 1990 to recognize athletes, coaches, and contributors who have made a positive impact on the athletic program since the high school began in the school year. The Athletic Hall of Fame inducted its first class on September 6, 1991 and inducts an annual class each fall before a varsity football game. Persons are encouraged to nominate individuals for selection, by completing the Nomination Application Form. Hall of Fame Nomination Applications can be found in the Madeira High School Athletic Department, or on the Madeira Athletic Web Site. Completed Nomination Applications can be returned by: Printing out the completed form and bringing it to the athletic office at the high school Printing out the completed form and mailing it to the post office box: M.H.S. Athletic Hall of Fame - P.O. Box Madeira, Ohio ing the completed form to: jperin@cinci.rr.com The deadline to submit nominations is May 1 st of the induction year. A committee familiar with the high school's athletic history will evaluate all eligible nominations for consideration. Eligibility is determined using a rubric developed by the Hall of Fame Committee, that places point values on both individual and team accomplishments in the athletic areas of excellence noted on the application form. Additional consideration may include sportsmanship, ethics, and integrity. Eligibility Requirements include: Athletes= Must be out of high school for a minimum of five years; Coach= Must no longer be coaching in the Madeira School System Contributor= May still be involved in the same or a similar capacity. *The selection is based on accomplishments at Madeira High School Only. Nominations are considered current for a period of 3 years. After the 3 rd year a nomination will need to be resubmitted, for additional consideration.
