(Mrs. Patterson) If you plan to check your student out for a doctor appointment, please complete the early dismissal form online and have your student turn in the form to the attendance clerk. This way your student can be ready for you when you get to the office. We only accept call in s for early dismissal on emergencies and it must be approved by administration. Please see the Attendance tab under the parent link on the Nease Website for additional information and attendance related forms. We send 5, 10, and 15-day letters home. Please remember attendance could affect your ability to receive and retain your drivers license. Good grades and attendance are directly correlated!

4 B Books, Bell Schedule Books Textbooks will be received throughout the first week of school. Keep in mind many textbooks are online now and online codes will be received through the individual classes. You will need your student ID to check out books. (ID s will be received during 9 th grade orientation.) Books may be checked out through the Media center with a pass from a teacher; before school, after school or during lunch. Kindle/E Readers are allowed at school with the AUP (Acceptable Use Procedures) form and Waiver for Personal Electronic Property completed. (Available in the Code of Conduct and online.) Bell Schedule We have 4 different main bell schedules. All are available on the website: Regular Daily bell schedule, Wednesday bell schedule, 1 st period homeroom schedule, 3 rd period homeroom schedule. During Exam times undated bell schedules will be available online. Typical daily school hours are 9:15-3:45. A possible innovative Bell Schedule with opportunity for enrichment/remediation during the school day may be put into place. More information will provided at Freshman orientation.

5 C Cafeteria Cafeteria We have 3 different Lunches which are determined by your 4 th period class. 30 minutes. This may change with possibility of the previous mentioned bell schedule. Students may eat in the cafeteria, weather permitting outside in the PAC amphitheater or at picnic tables next to the cafeteria.

Link Crew is a high school transition program that welcomes freshmen and new students to make them feel comfortable throughout the first year of their high school experience.

14 L Link Crew and Lockers Link Crew leaders (students) are trained in mentoring other students through their high school experiences. Mentoring Training is provided by teachers who are trained in this proven method. Link Crew is a high school transition program that welcomes freshmen and new students to make them feel comfortable throughout the first year of their high school experience. Built on the belief that students can help students succeed, Link Crew trains members of the junior and senior classes to be Link Leaders. As positive role models, Link Leaders are motivators, leaders and teachers who guide the freshmen through their first year. Link Crew begins with a powerful orientation day that makes freshmen excited and proud to be attending their new high school and allows them to begin developing relationships and strategies that will contribute to their high school success. After orientation, Link Crew continues, providing a variety of both Academic and Social Follow Up Activities throughout the year. Lockers are provided through out the school. Locks must be purchased through the school for $5.00. Please do not provide your own lock-they may be cut off. Lockers will be available during the first week of school.
