The main aim of the education is the 'holistic' development of the children. Every single child has the potential to excel in one field or the other. From our experience in schools we know that some of the children who apart from academics may do very well in other spheres of education. And as educators it is our duty to locate that latent capacity and provide it with congenial atmosphere and abundance of opportunities to grow to its fullest strength. It was thought that this objective of all round growth can be achieved only if the children are given plenty of exposure to areas of sports and games and imparting proper training thereto so that they can explore and realize their innate inclination and abilities. With this idea the Directorate of Education decided to start a new scheme. The Govt. of NCT of Delhi decided through its cabinet decision no dated to involve various sports academies I clubs I individual trainers into coaching of student players in our Government schools. In pursuance of the decision of the Government the Directorate circulated vide no. DE 411 Sportsl dated the detailed scheme of involvement of various sports academies I clubs I individual trainers into coaching of student players in our Government schools. The said circular is available on our website wwvv.cdudcl.nic.in. For inviting the nominations from the desirous 'sports academies I clubs I individual trainers a detailed notice was published in the leading newspapers.

2 _2-- In response to the above said public notice the Directorate received applications from various sports academies / clubs / individual trainers expressing their intention to impart training in various Government schools. After examination of the applications received by the stipulated date the following private sports academies Iclubs lindividual trainers have been found eligible for coaching of student players.
