9 Keystone Exams The class of 2019 must demonstrate proficiency on the Keystone exams in the areas of Algebra I, Literature and Biology. Students who have completed Algebra I or IB course by the time they exit middle school will have taken the Algebra I Keystone in middle school. Students enrolled in Concepts of Algebra or Algebra IA as 8th graders will be required to take the Algebra Keystone in high school. These requirements are pending approval based on Chapter 4 regulations from the PA Department of Education. New exams may be required based on these regulations.

16 Air Force JROTC Being implemented for grades 9-12 for the school year. Curriculum: 40% Aerospace science, 40% leadership education, 20% health and wellness training. Personnel: retired Air Force officer and enlisted military instructors that are interviewed by Pennsbury administration. 18 After August 1, A college-bound student-athlete completes 9 core courses prior to the 7th semester of high school. However, he/she is an academic redshirt because only 9 of 10 required courses were completed before the 7th semester. He/she would be permitted to practice and receive scholarships, provided he/she presents 16 core courses and meets the minimum core-course GPA and test-score requirement at the time of graduation. 2. A college-bound student-athlete completes 16 core courses in the required coursework with a corecourse GPA and a 79 sum ACT. The college-bound student-athlete is a full qualifier under the new sliding scale because the minimum GPA requirement is with an ACT sum score of at least A college-bound student-athlete completes 15 core courses with a core-course GPA and an 820 SAT score (critical reading and math). The college-bound student-athlete is a non-qualifier because only 15 core courses were completed, not the required 16 core courses.
