1 STRATEGIC PLAN FOR THE ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION OF SWAZILAND MISSION STATEMENT The Mission of the Athletics Association of Swaziland is to regulate and monitor the development and competitions of the sport of Athletics through sound administration, empowerment of all participants, advocacy and development of properly managed athletics programmes. VISION STATEMENT 2024 By 2024 we will have developed and implemented quality programmes in athlete development by adopting LTAD as the focus, coaching and officiating that will result in podium performances in world championships and Games. VALUE SYSTEM Our value system has its pillars standing on the following foundations; Excellence Integrity Equity Commitment 1 Strategic Plan Athletics Association of Swaziland

C) Stretch the term of office for board members to 5 years A) Develop a continuum structure that will clearly define developmental pathways for administrators. B) Take advantage of the Council\ SOCGA courses to train all athletics team administrators in athletics administration on a continuous basis C) Run sports administration workshops and mentoring programmes. COACHING -Establish a coaches commission code of conduct -policy, selection for national duty,coach with most athletes, event coach, developing coaches, paired with a senior coach - mentorship policies Technical Committee Technical Committee Establish coaching structure director - senior coach - junior coach - youth coach - kids coach Heads and then a minimum of two supporting coaches for each group, then one head coach for each event group - jumps, throws, sprints, long distance and combine events Technical committee establish two national levels before IAAF level, Use local lectures, To have a minimum of 2 Coaches per Club, A) Identify passionate teachers and train them as coaches 7 Strategic Plan Athletics Association of Swaziland
8 As part of education and I think coached identification and development we need to hold regional seminars, yes it seems strange but looking at the number of personal that we have in coaching, I feel we need to I'd coaches that can be developed.
