2 INTRODUCTION BOARD OF INTERMEDIATE & SECONDARY EDUCATION, GUJRANWALA RESULT NOTIFICATION NO CE/P SECONDARY SCHOOL (9 TH CLASS) PART-I EXAMINATION ANNUAL, 2016 P (2) The Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education Gujranwala was established in 1983 Under the Punjab Boards of Intermediate & Secondary Education Act It consists of six districts i.e. Gujranwala, Gujrat, Hafizabad, Mandi Baha-ud-Din, Narowal and Sialkot. The Govt. of the Punjab Education Department has restored the part wise Examination system at SSC level vide notification No. SO (Boards) 12-54/2001 dated 8, August Since then the examination of SSC Part-I is being conducted separately. The Secondary School (9 th Class) Part I Examination Annual, 2016 was commenced from to candidates applied for the Examination among whom candidates were appeared. The result is being declared on PROCLAMATION i. This Result Gazette is issued as a notice only. Errors and Omissions are acceptable. ii. The result of all candidates whether successful or otherwise is being published for convenience of all concerned. iii. The numerical figures given in the result column show the marks obtained by the candidates whereas abbreviations show the subjects in which the candidates obtained less than pass marks. 2. CANCELLED ROLL NUMBERS The un-allotted roll numbers have been cancelled. Similarly the Admissions of the candidates sent provisionally by the institutions but finally withdrawn or of those candidates, who were found ineligible for any other reason, have also been cancelled. 3. CHANCE TO REAPPEAR FOR PART - I Those candidates:- Who appeared in the Secondary School Part- I (9 th Class) Annual Examination 2016 and got less than pass marks in the subject/s may appear with Secondary School Part-II (10 th Class) Annual Examination, RESULT LATER CASES Successful efforts have been made to reduce the number of result later cases which is negligible percentage. However, the results of those candidates are still pending who inspite of repeated reminders have failed to remove discrepancies such as:- i. Non-adjustment of fee accounts ii. Non-determination of their eligibility. iii. Any other discrepancy already intimated to them.

3 P (3) All such candidates are advised in their own interest to deposit arrears of fee, if any and to comply with other requirements already intimated without further delay; otherwise the office would not be able to release their result intimations. 5. RESULT INTIMATION i. Result cards to all private candidates have been dispatched as per their given address on admission forms. ii. Regular candidates will receive their result cards from their concerned institutions. 6. ENQUIRIES i. All Enquiries regarding result of regular candidates should be addressed to the Heads of their respective institutions and not to the Controller of Examinations. 7 UNFAIRMEANS CASES P (7) In view of strict measures adopted to curb the tendency of unfair means in the examination, remarkable improvement has been noted. Despite of our vast and comprehensive inspections 83 cases in all could be detected with alleged use of unfair means in the examination halls and complaint received. The number of unfair means cases detected this year and so far decided are mentioned here under. A judicial procedure has been observed to decide all these cases. Before deciding the cases of alleged use of unfair means, maximum efforts have been made to provide fair opportunity of defense to all the candidates involved in such cases. A liberal offer has been made to the candidates to avail the chance of personal hearing with Discipline Committee and it has been ensured that personal hearing is granted to every such candidate who has shown his willingness for this purpose. All the undecided cases are pending for want of written reply from the candidates in response to charge sheets issued to them by the office. These candidates have been reminded more than once to submit their statements to the office to proceed further in the cases. All of them are hereby advised to submit their written defense to avoid ex-party decision.
