2 Question & Answers Q: When is registration? A: The BHS Guidance Counselors visit Middle Schools in February to provide high school enrollment information. Q: When is Freshman Preview Night? A: On February 12, a freshman tour is scheduled for 9am. The BHS department reps, athletic coaches, club sponsors will be hosting the Freshman Preview Night from 6:00pm to 7:00pm, in the HS Gym. Q: When will I get my official schedule? A: At back to school days which occurs one week prior to the first day of school. If you miss back to school days, report to the courtyard tables on the first day to get your official schedule. Q: Is the campus closed at lunch, and can I choose my lunch hour? A: BHS is a closed campus. There is one lunch period. Q: How and when do students set up a lunch account? A: An account is set up upon enrollment. Students will need their student ID number to access their account. Q: Where do I get bus information? A: At back to school days, on-line, in the front office, or you can call the transportation department Q: When is AIMS taken? A: First opportunity to take AIMS is spring of sophomore year. Q: To whom do I talk about Honors and Gifted Placement? A: Honors & Gifted -Guidance Counselors. Q: Does BHS have a dress code policy /and or cell phone policy? A: Yes, BHS has a dress code and cell phone policy that will be strictly followed for safety. Your student will be assigned a case manager who will help your student for the next four years. Registrations Notes The best source of information for all classes, fees, registration dates, school information etc., is found in the Course Description Handbook. The information in that document is more extensive and covers all four years. The course description catalog can be found online on the BHS school website. All forms and documents should be ready for pick up with our BHS counselors when they arrive at the middle school on the registration date. If the forms are not complete, or the documentation is not provided, this will delay registration until all is completed. The on-time student generally gets their class selections. The BHS staff looks forward to an outstanding academic four years with your incoming freshman. Students are encouraged to get involved in activities and athletics on campus.
