1 DSST Examinations with CTC Credit Recommendations Last Updated The DSST Program is a nationally recognized examination program that helps individuals earn credit for what they already know. Central Texas College (CTC) awards credit based on the American Council on Education (ACE) credit recommendations and CTC institutional guidelines. CTC does not award credit for exam scores that are older than 10 years at the time the request is submitted. For 2008 and later exams using a scoring range from 200 to 500, 00 is set as the pass point for all exams. For exams using the norm referenced scale, credit is awarded recommended two-digit score for the particular exam. If there is a difference in the minimum score listed in the chart below and the ACE recommended score on the official DSST transcript, credit will be awarded based on the ACE recommended minimum score.
