Book Fair (Dec.) Coordinate 3 4 dates per school year for family art projects. Send or flyers home, set up and clean up from evenings. Plan during summer for this family event food, tickets, games, prizes, raffle, inflatable held in Sept./Oct. Meet with Scholastic to plan the December book fair. Plan lunch for teachers and any other themed or coordinated classroom efforts for the week. Submit monthly OTP newsletter entries and PTA page web updates. Attend 2 3 board or foundation meetings per school yr and share info in PTA meetings. Send flyer home to families about rebate program and collect box tops sent in by families all year. Communicate reimbursement amount to PTA board twice per year. Make available helpful information on health & safety at several PTA events throughout the year. Hlth &Safety coordinator communicates with 4 6 parents who volunteer to ride the bus helping students at their stops the first 2 weeks of school. Make recommendations to the PTA about fundraisers and the annual gift to school. Communicate all planned events to EPS families Attend 3 4 meetings and offer opinions. Assist with fundraisers on as needed basis. Assist with fundraiser order delivery in November (1) Panther Days coordinator Volunteer Committee Negotiate several EPS family nights at local restaurants for a donation % of total sales. Chairperson: Pat Hayes Membership Committee Continued Help chairperson collect membership dues by taking shifts at the PTA registration table in May, Aug and 2 of 3 Sept Curriculum Nights. Helpers needed for August and Sept. to collect dues/give calendars Calendar production Work with comp.program to produce calendar of all school events. Dates are provided by Administration.
