3 Hybrid Block Schedule 7 class period day Sign up for block or standard class Can earn up to 7 credits in 1 school year plus summer school
4 Hybrid Block Schedule Regular school day 8:16-3:05 Monday = A Day you meet with ALL 7 classes Tuesday/Thursday = B day ODD BLOCK day (1, 3, 7) Wednesday/Friday = C day EVEN BLOCK day (2, 4, 6) Standard class 50 minutes Block class is 105 minutes
5 Hybrid Block Schedule As you can tell, 5 th hour cannot be blocked You will meet with 5 th hour everyday Blocked courses are offered 1 st /2 nd hours, 3 rd /4 th hours, and 6 th /7 th hours. You cannot sign up for only 1 blocked class You must sign up for either 0, 2, 4, or 6 blocked classes
6 Hybrid Block Schedule If you sign up for a class that is offered only as a blocked class then you must sign up for another blocked class. We highly recommend that you block year long classes together. For example-honors biology block should be blocked with your language arts class.

18 Freshman Year For PE all high school students must take Personal Fitness and Wellness (PFW) prior to any other PE class. If you want to do PE freshmen year then sign up for PFW semester 1 and another PE class semester 2. You can do PFW in summer school
19 Freshman Year If you want to do Fine Art then there are 3 options: Music Art Theater
20 Freshman Year If you want to do Career and Technical Education there are 6 options: Business Education FACS (foods, clothing, child development) Engineering Technology Computer Science Journalism Technology Education
21 Freshman Year Freshmen Seminar semester class for ½ elective credit. This is recommended for all freshmen first semester only
22 Freshman Year In Summary: You have to take 4 core classes (likely all 4 years) Which leaves 3 classes to work with Try to take as many requirements for graduation as possible 9 th and 10 th grade You could do another language, band and PE all in one school year!!!
