9 Course Request Instructions Please read them carefully Step 1: INSTRUCTIONS FOR COURSE REQUESTS Step 1: Complete the Course Request Form/CRF 1. On your CRF form select 15 classes for the school year. Discuss your options with your parents and obtain teacher input as needed. Resources such as the course catalog, PUSD graduation requirements and UC/CSU a-g college entrance requirements can be found at under Counseling. 2. Choose courses for each academic area in addition to PE, off roll and electives. Place an X in the course checkbox and indicate the number of classes in the Class Total box. When all courses are chosen, the total number of classes must equal 15. This includes all electives and off roll. 3. If taking any honors or AP courses, obtain teacher initials on CRF. 4. Please select courses carefully. Remember you are choosing courses for your entire school year. We create the number of sections for each course based on your requests. Future change requests may not be possible.

22 Additional Course Offerings Electives Additional Courses to select from as part of your 15 School Service Positions: Students are allowed to take one school service position per trimester: i.e. ASB, Academic Tutor, Teachers/Library/Office Assistant, Work Experience Teacher/Library/Office Assistant: max of 2 tri/10 credits, th grade Academic Tutor: max of 2 tri/10 credits, th, 3.0 or higher GPA preferred Permission forms for TA/LA/OA/AT available from Mrs. Pelio Physical Education After completion of ENS 1-2-3, Marching PE/ENS 1-2, or Tall Flags PE/ENS 1-2 you will need two additional PE classes (10 PE credits) th you can continue to take PE classes beyond required amount & up to 20 additional PE credits will go toward elective credits for graduation (up to total of 40 credits). So take extra PE! It is great for your mind and body! Selections titled Advanced are intended for student athletes participating on that DNHS. Off-Roll As long as you are not credit deficient you may take 1 off roll/tri. As a 10 th grader you should have earned at least 80 credits.
