Why did you choose the school? As soon as I walked on the campus, I knew it was the school for me. The academics are outstanding and I really like Coach (Cathy) Swezey. I have a former Milton teammate, Amanda Lockwood, who will be a senior when I am a freshman and can t wait to play with her again. Another plus is the campus is not too far from home so my family and friends can come watch me play. 2 Wave One: Girls recruit: Milton (GA) 2015 midfielder Davis commits to Vanderbilt (continued): What are your thoughts on this past HS lacrosse season/team s outlook for next season? I have been playing varsity lacrosse since my freshman year. In both 2012 and 2013, we won the State Championship. We played some top teams very close this year including McDonogh, Vero Beach, Good Counsel and Georgetown Visitation. In fact, we beat Vero Beach to become the #1 team in the South! While we lost many talented seniors this year, I believe my team has some great returning talent and will be strong this spring. Thank You: I want to thank my parents, friends, and my coaches, Tim Godby and Matt Snyder, for helping me through the recruiting process. It was stressful at times but they helped me keep it all in perspective. Other schools considered? Stanford, Northwestern, USC, Yale MEET OUR 2015 ELITE TEAM COACHES! Pam Masinko, Stacey Busbin, Leigh Brooks: Coach Masinko is the head coach at Cambridge high school, Coach Busbin is the head coach at John s Creek high school, and Coach Brooks is the head coach for the Milton Jr. Eagles. Coach Masinko has coached the 2014 Elite team for the past two seasons and 10 players on team have received NCAA Division 1 scholarships. Coach Busbin was the coach for the 2015 Elite team during the summer and guided the team to a 6-2 record at IWLCA tournaments while competing in the top division. STIX SCOOP 2

What are your thoughts on this past HS lacrosse season/team s outlook for next season? Mill Creek High School, in Hoschton GA, continues to improve year to year with last year being the best so far. We made it to the final four in the State only to fall to Milton. This coming year will be another strong showing, we only lost 4 seniors so we should do well.
