3 District Community Partnership Argyle Education Foundation: Comprised of a group of business, community and neighborhood volunteers working together to provide resources to enhance the learning environment in our schools. Argyle Eagle Booster Club: Parents, teachers, students and community members supporting the athletes of Argyle High School and Middle School through coordination of events, enthusiastic support of team s performances and fundraising opportunities. Argyle Band Boosters: Supports the Argyle Band Program at the Middle and High School levels. Band Boosters are comprised of any parent who has a student in the band program. The Boosters assist the Band by providing financial support for activities, scholarships, and private lessons as well as any projects outside the domain of the school district revenue. Hilltop and Intermediate School PTA s: Builds bridges be-tween homes and school, integrating the efforts of parents with those of principals and teachers. Included in this is fundraising and managing a volunteer base to maintain the school s valuable programs, events and equipment. Watch D.O.G.S.: Nationally recognized, non-profit, father involvement initiative that is under the direction of the National Center for Fathering. The program was created for the purpose of encouraging dads, grandfathers, uncles and other father figures to become more involved in schools.

5 Bond Information and Development Plans The Argyle Independent School District Board of Trustees voted unanimously to call a bond election on May 10, The election was for one propositions totaling $45 million. Proposition 1 for $45 million addresses current capacity needs, facility renovations, and athletic updates and improvements. Proposition One: New Middle School Campus (Phase I of HS) - $30,150,0000 New building for 750 students, 6-8th grades built on the site on the northwest corner of 377 and 1171; District-wide Technology - $2,000,000; New Buses- $550,000; High School Science Lab Updates-$155,000; Baseball/Softball Seating (750 baseball, 400 softball)-$218,000; Baseball Outfield Wall-$145,500; Girls Field House/Locker Room (football and soccer visitor locker room and stadium restrooms)-$1,029,000; Stadium Seating (800 home, 600 visitors)- $280,000; Indoor Activity Center (60 yards for band and athletics)-$3,699,000; Locker Rooms for tennis, baseball, and softball (includes offices and storage)- $2,475,500; New tennis courts plus lighting (includes 4 new courts)-$380,000; Turf at existing baseball and softball fields-$1,440,000; Bond Program Contingency-$2,477,075 Campus Development Plan New Middle School (Phase 1 of High School) open for school year at Canyon Falls with 6th 8th grades Phase 2 addition to Middle School at Canyon Falls will create a new High School with capacity of 1500 to 2200 students in grades 9-12 Upon completion of Phase 2 addition, Middle School will move to current High School campus New Elementary School campuses will be developed as needed on donated sites at Harvest and Canyon Falls 2015 Enrollment Totals (as of August 2015) Hilltop Enrollment: 761 Intermediate School Enrollment: 334 Middle School Enrollment: 369 High School Enrollment: 751

The Lone Star Cup is awarded to the highest number of UIL points in the three areas of fine arts, academics, and athletics. The award is given in each of the six classifications, 1A 6A. 8 Looking Forward... Strong growth in the DFW housing market is trending into Argyle ISD for 2015 and will likely continue for the next 10 years. The district may see annual start rates jump into the range by the end of Five year enrollment growth of 1,046 students with total district enrollment of 2,997 in the year 2018/19. Ten year enrollment growth of 2,577 students with total district enrollment of 4,528 in the year 2023/24. Academic Programs ~ Argyle ISD strives to offer academic programs that meet the needs of all students. Pre-Advanced Placement and Advanced Placement courses are offered to students wishing to follow a more vigorous curriculum. Argyle High School currently offers 16 College Board approved AP courses. AHS, in partnership with Texas Woman s University, offers students the opportunity to earn college credit while in high school. Argyle ISD is committed to recruiting and retaining highly qualified, forward-thinking teachers and staff; To focus on student achievement and participation in the areas of academics, athletics and fine arts; To encourage parental involvement and community awareness and support.
