2 Report cards will be distributed at that time Mrs. D-J s Science Class Mrs. D-J s science students will be testing next week. 1 st period will be taking the Weather Check on Wednesday and the End of Term Final on Friday. 2 nd period will be taking the Weather Check on Tuesday and the End of Term Final on Thursday. Students will receive study guides for each test. The study guides will also be shared with the students in Google Classroom. Please encourage your son or daughter to review the notes in Google Classroom-About. Mr. Malik s 7 th Grade Global Studies End of the Quarter Test will be Monday, March 13 th. Students will be given a study guide on Friday. Mrs. Finney s 8 th Grade CAA and S.S. Classes Mrs. Finney s 8 th Grade CAA and S.S. classes have their last DBQ paper due on Thursday, March 16, Please make sure your Sudlow Student has it completed by then. All members should be in their concert attire for the pictures and meet in the LARGE GYM. There will be no grace/extension period, and students not meeting this requirement may NOT begin the school year until this has been met. Letters have been mailed home this week to all current 6 th graders/incoming 7 th graders with information on these requirements. Now is a great time to contact your health care provider to make an appointment for your student to receive their updated immunizations before next school year. Please contact the school nurse with any questions. Thank you! Locker Clean Out Locker clean out will be Wednesday March 15 please have them bring home any clothing or food. 8th Grade Class Picture The 8 th grade class picture will be taken Wednesday April 19 at 8:50 A.M. Please make sure 8 th graders are on time. Order forms will be in the office after spring break. Dance Team Prep Clinic: March 14: 3:30-5:30 at Central High School Gym March 16: 3:30-5:30 at Central High School Gym Not required for tryouts, but recommended. Junior High Students get to Central when you can after school. Dance Tryouts: April 1: 8:00am. Doors open at 7:30am. 3

During the month of March print out the attachment and fill it up with Box Tops. (students may also pick up a printed copy in the office) Return the full sheet (50 Box Tops) to the main office anytime during the month of March to receive a treat! The AP class with the most Box Tops turned in during the month of March will win donuts. Davenport Parks and Recreation Soccer Camp Attention all soccer players do you want to improve your skills? Do you want to work with the high school coaches to get better? Do you want to have fun while playing this spring break? If so, check out the Davenport Parks and Recreation Soccer Camp, being held at the River s Edge from 1:00-3:30 every weekday during spring break! Information can be picked up in the main office! Davenport East Little League Baseball Who is ready for some baseball? Davenport East Little League is looking for kids ages 4-12 that would like to play baseball this spring at Garfield Park. Little League baseball is about teaching the kids teamwork and good sportsmanship. Davenport East is committed to the development of the kids and 5
