K. Pithawala College of Engineering & Technology, Surat. Total 150 students and faculty members attended this seminar. In this seminar, the lectures and presentations on Indian Nuclear Power Programme, Radiation A fact of life and DAE Societal benefits were imparted; queries on Indian Nuclear Power Program and questions regarding ionising radiation were also clarified by the PAP faculty. फरवर म ह म अठ रह स य मण आय जत कए गए जसम क ल 776 आग त क न स य थल क द र कय जनम ग जर त क इ ज नय र ग एव तकन क स थ न क, आईएफएस (भ रत य व य स न, नई द ल ) क 11 अ धक र और म प च यत स दडव ण, त. य र क 68 मव स भ श मल ह सभ आग त क क क कर प र ग जर त थल क स चन क म दश न म डल और प टर क सह यत स न भक य व त स य क प रचय कर य गय सभ आग त क क क एप एस-1व2 क तकन क म ग दश क क स थ मण कर य गय और व त उ प दन य क भ समझ य गय तकन क म ग दश क न व थ य र प छ गए न क सम ध न कय In the month of February, eighteen plant visits were conducted; total 776 visitors which include students of engineering and technology institutes from Page 1 of 16

2 Gujarat, 11 officers from IAF (Indian Air Force, New Delhi) and 68 villagers from Gram Panchayat Sadanvan, Ta. Vyara, visited the plant. All the visitors were briefed about the working of a nuclear power plant with the help of flow indicator display models and posters at Kakrapar Site Information Centre. Technical guides of KAPS site assisted the visitors during plant visit and also explained the power generation process. T.
