Total 384 participants including students and faculty members of the institute attended the seminar. In these seminars, the lectures and presentations on Indian Nuclear Power Programme, Radiation A fact of life and DAE Societal benefits were imparted; queries on Indian Nuclear Power Program and questions regarding ionising radiation were also clarified by the PAP team members. अगत 2018 म ह, म 15 स य मण क आय जन कय गय क ल 792 आग त क न स य थल क मण कय जनम ग जर त क क ल /क ल ज क व थ श मल थ सभ आग त क क क कर प र ग जर त थल क स चन क म ल इ डक टर ड ल म डल और प टर क मदद स न भकय व त स य क क यण ल क ज नक र द गई क एप एस स इट क तकन क ग इड न स य मण क द र न व थय क सहय ग कय और स थ ह व त Page 1 of 14

2 उ प दन य भ समझ ई तकन क म गदशक न आग त क र प छ गए न क सम ध न कय 15 plant visits were conducted in the month of August 2018; total 792 students of schools/colleges from Gujarat visited the plant. All the visitors were briefed about the working of a nuclear power plant with the help of flow indicator display models and posters at Kakrapar Site Information Centre. Technical guides of KAPS site assisted the students during plant visit and also explained the power generation process. Questions asked by the students were answered by technical guides. Highlights of the month 15 onsite out reach programs organised for School and College students. Total 792 students and faculties participated resulted in 4752 hrs. of public outreach activity. Total 60 man days spent by KAPS to achieve these out reach activities. 800 Public Awareness booklets of local language Gujarati and English were distributed. 3 out station out reach programs organised for college students hrs. of public outreach, reaching 384 students and faculties. Total 6 man days spent by KAPS to achieve these out reach activities. 680 Public Awareness booklets of English language were distributed. Page 2 of 14

The Plant visit is also successful and students have received knowledge for actual working of Nuclear Power Plant. Finally we have enjoyed hospitality and canteen services at the unit. All the staff member of KAPS are very cooperative all students and college staff are very much enjoyed the tour and impressed with cleanness maintained in plant. Knowledge is a biggest key of success. So we al students and faculty are learned lots of things from this plant visit. We are thanks full to NPCIL to get a wonderful change for us. Industrial visit of NPCIL Kakrapar is very good. The people who deal with up to make understand the concept of nuclear power is very good. All the people are very cooperative and helpful. I am very thankful to the people who support up to make our visit successful. Thank you very much once again for give us permission of NPCIL visit. It has amazing experience to visit NPCIL. All the staff was fully cooperative & much enthuastic in all aspect. We are thankful for the interactive Q/A session and plant visit.
