14 By-Law Amendment Part IV, Article III, Section III - Regarding 7th & 8th Grade 50-rule Section III: If the total enrollment of the seventh and eighth grade pupils in a school or cooperative sponsorship school is not over fifty (50) seventy-five (75), the fifth and sixth grade pupils of the school may be permitted to participate on all the junior high teams except tackle football and wrestling. Note: The total enrollment count must take place at the beginning of each season in which this rule is applied.
15 Skills Contests Q. May a student participate in a skills contest (free throw; punt, pass, and kick; drive, chip, and putt, etc.) or a randomly drawn halftime contest during the season? A. Local school policy will determine whether or not participation in non-school skills contests or randomly drawn halftime contests during the season is permitted. Variations of a sport due to numbers or surface are not considered skills contests (3 on 3 basketball, beach volleyball, 7 on 7 football, slow pitch softball, futsal, etc.) and participation in such events shall result in penalty.

32 New Regulations Other New Regulations Basketball - Class A: 1. Change the boys shot clock to 30 seconds to match the girls. Golf: 1. Remove the regulation requiring all players in each group to sign all score cards in the group. Each golfer will mark one competitor during the round. Gymanstics: 1. Allow transfer students to compete in regular season varsity meets as unattached individuals.

If user has NDHSAA account, complete requirements using same account and address as used in current NDHSAA account. 2. Register Online Within NDHSAA Account a. Officials Registration tab i. My Profile -> Sport -> Choose Local -> Complete registration form 3. Pay Registration Fee a. Online or through mail. MUST be paid within 30 days or registration is cancelled. i. $20 registration fee plus $12 for first sport. ($32) ii. Additional sports: $12 each 4. Complete Local Officiating Rules Clinic, a. Available on Clinic tab when logged in to NDHSAA account. 5. Complete NFHS Learn Concussion Management Course (State Law) a. Create NFHS Learn account at if you do not have one and purchase (course is free, however you still need to purchase) and complete the Concussion Management course, Instructions available on the NDHSAA website at the Concussion Management Information link on the main NDHSAA webpage.

49 NDHSAA Tennis One New Regulation for 2018/19 - Disputed line-ups If a regular season or play-in match line-up is disputed, the NDHSAA office shall be notified of the protest within 24 hours of the completion of said match. NDHSAA provide the line-up in question to coaches within the region, with the exception of the coach of the disputed line-up. Coaches will vote on the protest and if upheld by a majority, the offending team will forfeit all matches in question. This will be reflected in the seeding for team day. Records of challenge matches may be used to verify line-ups and shall supersede the protest leaving the line-up to stand as originally listed.

70 Academic Eligibility Part II, Article XIV, Section IV Students must be making satisfactory progress towards the school s requirements for graduation. The school where the student is fully enrolled and regularly attends shall determine satisfactory progress. Failure to acquire two and one half credits at the end of a semester will make him/her ineligible for a minimum of two weeks the following semester. Fully enrolled Satisfactory progress Summer School Courses that count Two week ineligibility
71 Regularly Attends Regularly attends is the minimum number of classes required by the local school district. A student that maintains a full online class load is ineligible to compete for any NDHSAA member school. During the current semester a student that takes online courses must also physically attend at least one (1) class at his/her NDHSAA member school of attendance in order to be eligible to participate. A student that transitions from an entirely online class load to physical attendance is subject to NDHSAA transfer rules.
