12 Early Decision vs Early Action Early Decision - you are legally bound to attend the college; they could charge you tuition if you do not attend Early Action - you receive an early response to your application but you are not bound/committed to attend
13 Transcripts If you apply through the Common Application, counselors will submit your transcript via Common App. If you apply outside of the Common Application, you MUST request your transcript via Parchment. FHS Homepage --> A. Tips for Parchment: a. Set up an account b. Be sure to use 2018 graduation date c. Parchment is FREE until, August 1st, 2018
14 College Visits Students are allowed a total of four (4) days for college visitation taken only during junior and/or senior years. 1. Make an appointment with the college admissions office. 2. Obtain college visit card from FHS school counselor by presenting note from parent/guardian with date of visit and name of college/university. 3. Show the college visit card to attendance aide and teachers prior to absence 4. At your college visit the card must be signed by college admission counselor and parent/guardian.
