26 Elementary K CES adopted NWEA-MAP as the K-2 State Assessment, ACT Aspire will continue to be 3-4 Grades State Assessment. - Implemented reading support groups and RTI for students struggling with phonics and phonological awareness based on DIBELS. - Interventionists are utilizing Saxon to ensure consistency with classroom instruction. - Implemented flexible reading groups based on MAP skills. - Teachers are utilizing Zearn.org during math. 29 Other Information *CES, CMS, and CHS distributed and discussed the student discipline policy during Open House. *All teachers, administrators, classified school employees, and volunteers have been provided with appropriate student discipline training. *Each building has a Parent and Family Engagement Plan which will be handed out at conferences, during the annual Title 1 school meeting and is posted on each school webpage. *All teachers attend PLC meetings in which data is reviewed and professional development needs are met. *Each building has a Leadership Team that works on the ACSIP Plan. *CES/CMS has partnered with The Boys and Girls Club of Van Buren to provide after school care from 3:30-7:00 pm. CES now provides before school care beginning at 7:00 am.
