2 About Sakshi ArenaOne School Fest The School Fest is being initiated by the Sakshi The greatest gift one can give a child is the gift of work among the students. However, there are things that can only be learned by experiences, just words would do little justice! This is where the Sakshi Arena One School Fest steps in. The Sakshi Arena One - School Fest, is the single largest canvas for students from schools in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana to connect, compete and experience the world around them as never before, an experience which we believe will out last the event. All competitions will be conducted in the two states. There will be only one single open category for students of class 7th to 10th. However, students from lower classes interested in participating can also do so. Media Group under its student outreach program to instill the spirit of competition, fair play and team schools a definitive canvas to encourage students to excel and win laurels. Sakshi Arena One - The School Fest is an event where every competing student wins. The winners take home added confidence in their skills, which will help them compete at higher levels. The participants get an opportunity to get a first hand understanding of their strengths and shortcomings, helping them improve their abilities. With over 30,000 students from 500 schools competing amongst themselves in a host of events, spread over 6 categories and 22 sub-categories, the Sakshi Arena One School Fest promises to be an unforgettable and wonderful experience for both students and teachers alike. Round Two - District Level - Will be conducted in their respective district by Sakshi Team Final Round - State Level - Finals will be conducted for Andhra Pradesh at Vijayawada & Telangana at Hyderabad SAKSHI INDIA SPELL BEE AND MATH BEE For Spell Bee and Math Bee there will be 4 categories for students from class 1st to 10th. The Competitions will be in 3 Levels: competitions will be conducted separately for A.P Round One - School Level The first round and Telangana states. is conducted at the school level by the school management. The school s management should send their top students or top team by conducting internal competitions.

3 Creative Arena The purest forms of creative expression have always been the domain of younglings. Children see the world around them without filters and have the gift to portray complexity in the simplest of ways. To bring out this creativity, the Sakshi Arena One School Fest has the Creative Arena category in place. With competitions such as Poster Making and Presentations, the School Fest will help children showcase their creative points of view on topics that they are familiar with. Poster Making The Poster Making Competition will indulge the children in portraying their views on several topics in a creative manner. Presentation We inhabit a world which has its own share of delights and difficulties. The Presentation Competition gives the participating children a chance to present their views on certain topics as well provide innovative solutions and ways to improve them. This is our chance to learn from the children! Fine Arts The finer things in life are those that require a lot of patience, love and creativity to nurture and build. Painting and Photography are the two main sub-categories in the Fine Arts section. Painting Colours can bring almost anything to life! No competition for children is ever complete without a Painting contest. Participants will have the opportunity to bring to life ideas in their own special and colourful ways. Photography Photography is an activity that exhibits the viewpoint of individuals. Usually considered as an activity for adults, the introduction of this sub-category in the School Fest gives the children an opportunity to showcase their point of view and skills of observation. Literary Words have the power to inspire, educate and bring peace and harmony in society. The Sakshi Arena One School Fest gives its participants the opportunity to understand and hone this power of words through the literary category. Article Writing Future journalists, authors and writers will be kick starting their careers right here at the School Fest with the Article Writing Competition. The contest will see children writing on several topics from current affairs to education. Debate: As the old saying goes, there are always two sides to a coin. Debates have always been a way for society to understand contrasting points of view on subjects. The School Fest will promote the same spirit of debate amongst the students through this competition. Quiz How much do we know about the world around us? In the ever changing dynamics of today s super fast paced world, Quiz Competitions are getting tougher by the day. The Sakshi Arena One School Fest will test the awareness of the participants to the limits, in a Google-free environment! Handwriting An art seldom appreciated in the modern world of keyboards and print outs, the traditional form of writing gets its much needed focus in the School Fest. 4 Performing Arts The heart of every fest always lies in the Performing Arts. From music to singing and dancing, the Performing Arts bring any event in the world to life. Students will have the opportunity to showcase their skills in Dance, Singing and Musical Instruments. The events under this category are: Group Dance Solo Dance Instrument Solo Singing Sports Sport has always been the perfect way to test the physical and mental strength of a team or individual. The sportsman/woman spirit is an attribute acquired by experiencing different situations and challenges on the playing field. The Sakshi Arena One School Fest is the perfect opportunity for students to bring out the best in them. The events under this category are: Cricket Caroms (Singles/Doubles) Chess Badminton (Singles/Doubles) Basketball Table Tennis (Singles/Doubles) Organizers / Jury / Umpires / Arbitrators decision will be binding on all participants.

5 SAKSHI INDIA SPELL BEE SAKSHI MATH BEE Sakshi India Spell Bee the most awaited English spelling contest in India is back in its fifth season. Thousands of children from class I to X are preparing for this exciting contest. The fifth edition will have two finals. One for Telangana and other for Andhra Pradesh.The test will be common for both states till the third round and the topper from every district will be selected for the finals. 3rd Round Semifinals This will be a written test and the format will be same as the second round. The centers will be at Vishakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Tirupathi and Hyderabad. 4th Round Finals This will be an Oral test and will be conducted at Hyderabad. There will be two State Finals one for Telangana and the other for Andhra Pradesh. What is Sakshi Math Bee? The Sakshi Math Bee is a math tournament where students from grade 1-10 compete in four categories. The competition includes a real world interactive competition culminating in a state level event held at Hyderabad. The goal is to find a way to get children to learn something and to be interested in it. Second Round - Quarter Finals districts headquarters. Students will take the test at a venue arranged by Sakshi Team Finals This will be an Oral test and will be conducted at Hyderabad. There will be two State Finals one for Telangana and the other for Andhra Pradesh. The finals which is relayed on Sakshi TV is a immensely popular programme and watched by millions across TS and AP. The Sakshi Math Bee is conducted in both states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana at par with academic standards followed by the state education boards. NOTE: The Judge s decision is Final in all the contests and matters concerning the contest and cannot be contested for any reasons whatsoever. Format is subject to change as per the discretion of the Bee 1st Round Preliminary schools by the school management on the guidelines given by ISB. Question paper will be sent by ISB. 2nd Round Quarter Finals The Sakshi Math Bee uses a combination of children s natural desire to play, compete and participate to effectively hone math skills. Sakshi Math Bee 2016, the Second edition mathematics competition is open for students from grade 1 to 10. Master. The rules and regulations may be changed or amended in case the need arises.
