4 Cougar Athletics - History California State University San Marcos is founded Intercollegiate Athletics annouced with six sports - m/w cross country, m/w golf and m/w track & field. Mangrum Track and Soccer Field breaks ground Golf, cross country, track & field s first season of competition 2003 M.
