1 Notice for the candidates selected for the post of Divisional Accountant in Indian Audit & Accounts Department through CGLE The Staff Selection Commission has declared the final result of CGLE-2014 in September and has placed it on the Commission s website. 400 candidates have been selected for the post of Divisional Accountant. The candidates selected for the post of Divisional Accountant by the SSC will be allocated to the field offices located in different states on the basis of the preference exercised by them vis-à -vis their merit in the final result. Accordingly, the candidates are requested to exercise their preference for various states given in the proforma placed in bilingual format (English & Hindi) on the website ( A candidate has to fill the form in one language only as per his/her choice. A candidate nominated as Divisional Accountant in this Department has to exercise his/her preference for all the 18 states as mentioned in the proforma The candidates are requested to send the duly filled in preference forms (contained in Annexure I) and personal information along with the Attestation Form (in duplicate), which is also available on this website, to this office latest by While sending the information, the name of the Examination i.e CGLE and name of the post i.e Divisional Accountant should invariably be mentioned on the left hand side top corner of the envelope. 2 Post:- Divisional Accountant Roll No:- Name:- Rank in the Merit List :- Combined Graduate Level Examination-2014 (Proforma for exercising State Preferences) The candidates, selected for the post of Divisional Accountant through CGLE-2014, are advised to exercise the State-wise preferences for the following States: Arunachal Pradesh, Bihar, Chattisgarh, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Manipur, Orissa, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu & Puducherry, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and West Bengal. For instance if a candidate s first preference is Bihar ; second preference is Haryana and third preference is Himachal Pradesh; and his last i.e 18 th preference is West Bengal, he/she should write his/her preference as under: 1. Bihar 2. Haryana 3. Himachal Pradesh West Bengal. Note:- (1) He/She is advised to exercise his/her preference for all the 18 States mentioned above accordingly in Annexure I. (2) In case the duly filled in preference form is not received by the last date specified, it will be presumed that he/she has no preference for appointment in any State (s) and the State will be allocated to him/her as per the discretion of the Department. (3) In case the preference indicated by him/her does not cover all the States, it will be presumed that he/she has no preference for the States not indicated in the preference form and the allocation in a State will be made in his/her case accordingly.
