Unweighted Estimating GPA For each final grade on the transcript, assign the following point values: A=4 B=3 C=2 F=0 Add up all the points and divide by the number of classes. Do not round up (ex: 2.85 doesn t round to a 3.0) Its important to move borderline grades to the next letter grade.

14 HOPE SCHOLARSHIP HOPE GPA of 3.0 or greater to qualify. Approximately 2/3rds tuition covered at a public GA university. ZELL MILLER 3.7 HOPE GPA Zell Miller 100% tuition paid. Earn a 1200 on the math and critical reading sections of the SAT or an ACT composite of a 26. HOPE GPA doesn t include elective grades or honors points. An extra.5 is added to AP/IB courses on a 4.0 scale. HOPE GRANT For students seeking a technical certificate or diploma. No high school GPA requirement. Must have a 2.0 GPA during technical school enrollment. Pays a percentage of tuition depending on the college.
