She is well-versed in Hindi, English, Gujarati, Japanese, French, German and Punjabi. She has never been to a formal school. Recalling her experience of of studying through NIOS, she said, At the moment, I am studying B.A. (Hons.) in English Literature from Goldsmiths College, University of London. I studied through NIOS since I was homeschooled and I was taking part in other social and cultural activities. NIOS enabled me to take time away from regular study and pursue a career in Kathak which I have been learning since past 11 years. In addition, I was also able to devote my time and energy to social work by working with a reputed NGO in Gujarat called "Friends of All". For this, I shall always be grateful to NIOS.
