1 Keys to Using this Document: Programs of study listed with an asterisk (*) indicate that the course of study listed is an example and that students have multiple means of completing that program of study. Programs of study that list more than 4 credits indicate that students may have a choice in the courses that they take. In general, an endorsement requires 4 credits. Endorsements require a coherent sequence. Special explanations are listed in the first column of each endorsement. Number in brackets [xxxx] indicate the KISD course code. Number in parentheses (x) indicate the number of credits earned for the course. Number of credits and course codes are subject to change. Asterisk (*) indicates this course is highly recommended; however, it is not a course required for the purpose of earning an endorsement in the specified program of study. For the purposes of this document, the following definitions apply: Cohort 2019: Students who began high school in Cohort 2020: Students who began high school in Cohort 2021: Students who began high school in Cohort 2022: Students who began high school in. Students who fall behind in credits may be subject to course requirements based on the number of credits earned. All exceptions to course sequences listed in this document must be approved through the Killeen ISD Director for Secondary Curriculum. For questions regarding the content and use of this document, contact the Director for Secondary Curriculum at (254) The most current version of this document will be posted online at 9/14/2018
