2 Revision of the First Aid Requirement for Coaches Present Requirement States: All new coaches will have one (1) year after being hired to successfully complete a course in Sports First Aid. Recommended Change: Add the first aid course requirement to the CPR/AED certification requirement. Rationale: Presently, the NJSIAA first aid requirement grandfathers coaches who coached in New Jersey prior to the school year. Additionally, coaches were only required to successfully complete a first aid course once in their coaching career. This new addition to the CPR/AED requirement would not include all coaches new or grandfathered; ensuring that all coaches would hold current first aid certification with a two (2) year renewal cycle that is the same as the CPR/AED renewal cycle.
3 WILSON PREP FAQs When will the Association about Wilson Prep be sent? The will be sent to coaches, administrators and faculty on a date that both parties agree is mutually beneficial. This will be sent by Wilson on behalf of the executive director of the Association. What is the program discount and are there exclusions? The Wilson Prep program offers 20% off select Wilson and DeMarini products. Official game balls are discounted 10%. There is a $2,000 annual limit and custom products are excluded from the program. Access to the program is limited to one year with the possibility of renewal. Do participants in this program receive free shipping? No. Like other B2X programs, participants will not receive free shipping. Since this program is targeted to schools, will orders be eligible for tax exemptions? No. Unfortunately our e-commerce platform does not support tax exempt orders, so all orders will be charged tax. What is the login URL? wilson.com/prep. From this page the individual can register for access to Wilson Prep and login on a returning visit. Does an individual need a program code to get access to Wilson Prep? No, individuals simply complete a certification process on Wilson Prep and the system will create the registration within the B2X platform for the user. How should coaches or athletic directors order team balls? Team ball purchases should continue to flow through the team dealer network. This program is not designed for team purchases.
