10 Rigor Requirements for HOPE HOPE Rigorous Course List AP Language AP Literature AP Calculus College Readiness Math GSE Algebra II Pre-Calculus AP Biology Human Anatomy Chemistry I Physics AP US History Spanish II Spanish III Any Academic MOWR Course Must take a minimum of 4 Rigors courses to be HOPE eligible in the following types of courses: Advanced Math courses Advanced Science courses AP courses in core areas Course taken at the postsecondary level (college) Advanced foreign language courses

11 Honor Graduate Requirements Underclassmen Honor Graduate: Must have a HOPE GPA of 90 or above with no grade below 70 for the 8 semesters of high school. Superior Honor Graduate: Must have a HOPE GPA of 90 or above with no grade below a 70 for the 8 semesters of high school and complete an Advanced Academic Pathway. Advanced Academic Pathway Earn four credits in one academic subject area One of those credits must be an AP course or a MOWR course Earn two credits of Foreign Language

20 Testing End of Course Assessment (EOC) are in each academic area. Ninth Gr Lit/Comp and American Lit/Comp GSE Algebra I and GSE Geometry Biology I and Physical Science US History and Econ/Bus/Free Enterprise Student Learning Objectives (SLO) are in all subject areas Pre-test Post-test A formula is used to convert the difference in the Pre and Posttest to a percentage grade that is used a final exam grade. ALL EOCs SLOs count 20% of the final grade.

23 Sports Eligibility All students must have physical exam before trying out for a sport. ALL first time 9th graders are eligible for all sports in the fall of their freshman year. To continue to be eligible for participation in any sport the student must pass 3 of 4 classes each semester.
