If these funding sources are cut, staffing will be reduced as appropriate. Salary for Extra Assignments or Requirements shall be determined or approved by the Superintendent each year. The following pay rate has been set for Extended School Services and After School Tutoring Years Department Head (HS): Base + $835 (District will fund 4 positions at each high school.) 4+ Years Exp Team Leader (MS): Base + $410(District will fund 3 positions at each middle school.) RANK FRINGE BENEFITS: Coordinator Head Teacher: Base + $1552 Ia Doctorate Degree Gifted Program Teacher Cluster Leader Stipend: Base + $515 I Masters Degree plus 30 Hours STLP Coordinator $1000 II Masters Degree District STLP Coordinator $1000 III Bachelors Degree Benefits will be pro-rated when feasible for less than full-time employement IV 96 to 128 Semester Hours Sick Leave (See Board Policy) - Paid by Board of Education V 64 to 95 Semester Hours Three Emergency Leave Days (Taken From Sick Days) - Paid by Board of Education Three Additional Emergency or Personal Leave Days - Paid by Board of Education Holidays - Based on Contract Days Per Board Policy - Paid by Board of Education Medical Insurance - Per State Plan All required or approved requested PD days beyond the 185/187 contract will be based on ESS salary schedule. Workers' Compensation Insurance - Paid by Board of Education Pre-approved days : Vocational business. 3 days Life Insurance Through Teachers' Retirement System - Paid by Teachers' Retirement System Summer conference 4 days summer camp Life Insurance - Paid by State Building Liaison 2 days (12 hours) Liability Insurance for Each Employee, Including Errors and Omissions - Paid by Board of Education Vocational Center up to 5 days training for program certification Matching Teachers' Contribution for Teacher Retirement - Paid by State Summer Camp 2 days Retired/other part-time certified employees employed for supplemental services are paid the hourly ESS rate. Retired certified employees hired under critical shortage waiver are paid according to KTRS guidelines (Rank +20 yrs). Retired part-time/full-time contracted employees are paid their Daily Wage Threshold (DWT). 1

Those with thirty (30) or more years of service will be compensated at 75% of their daily rate based on their rank and experience. This compensation reflects the the same earnings allowed by the Kentucky Retirement System and will not exceed the rate determined by KTRS for teachers retiring after July 1,
