4 Foundation High School Program It is a flexible program that allows students to pursue their interests. The Foundation High School Program became effective with the Freshman class of Upon entering 9 th grade students must declare an endorsement in writing. Endorsement is recorded on the students Personal Graduation Plan (PGP) which must be signed by parent and student.

5 Foundation Options 1. Foundation Program = 22 State credits 2. Foundation + Endorsement = 26 State credits 3. A higher performance category called Distinguished Level of Achievement = 26 State credits 4. Performance Acknowledgements that note outstanding achievement in specific areas.

20 What is the PSAT/NMQST? The Preliminary SAT (PSAT) or The National Merit Qualifying Scholarship Test (NMSQT) is a test that helps you practice for the SAT. The test also enables you to enter the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC) scholarship programs. It is a timed test, 2 hours and 45 minutes. 22 National Merit Scholarship Qualifications In order to be eligible for the National Merit Scholarship Program, a student must: 1) take the PSAT/NMSQT during their junior year of high school 2) be in high school and plan to enroll in college full time by the fall after high school graduation and 3) be a U.S. citizen or a permanent U.S. resident with the intention of becoming a U.S. citizen
