4 IB Mission Statement The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right. To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment.

16 General Scheduling Info. Students do not enter the IB Program and are not designated as IB students until 11 th grade. Pre-IB Requirements All IB Diploma students are required to take 4 years of the same foreign language. Mathematics should have successfully completed Algebra II by the end of 10 th grade. Geometry (9 th ) Algebra II (10 th ) OR Algebra I (9 th ) Geometry and Algebra II (10 th )
